For the third time, the winners of the German Brand Award were honoured at a gala ceremony at the German Historical Museum in Berlin on 21 June 2018. A special feature of the German Brand Award is that companies are nominated and awarded regardless of their size.
More than 600 invited guests from business, culture and the media accepted the exclusive invitation. With the German Brand Award, the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute honour successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication.
To our great delight HUTSCHN not only won the German Brand Award 2018 in the "Kids & Toys" category, but was also awarded the "Sustainable Brand of the Year 2018" prize in the "Excellence in Branding" category. We are delighted about this and it once again confirms our regional and sustainable production. Andreas and Matthias Bunsen, who are responsible for the brand management at HUTSCHN brand management, accepted the award on behalf of the team from HUTSCHN team in Berlin.
Only companies nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert panels for the German Brand Award 2018 can participate in the competition.
The German Design Council is one of the world's leading competence centres for communication and knowledge transfer in the field of design. More than 300 companies currently belong to its circle of founders. The German Design Council was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag to strengthen the design competence of the German economy. The aim of the German Brand Institute is to strengthen the importance of the brand as a decisive success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment. With the German Brand Award, the foundation presents a unique award for outstanding brand management. The German Brand Institute was initiated by the German Design Council and GMK Markenberatung.
